Sydney Counselling Centre has been providing general and specialist psychological services to the community since 1989. We are located at three convenient locations across Sydney, all readily accessible by public transport.
General Counselling: The staff members employed in this program are all fully registered psychologists and clinical psychologists. Staff must be able to work independently, be able to work with couples, and preferably to work evenings.
Personal Support Program: This program employs people from a broad range of backgrounds, including disability work, alcohol and other drug dependence and abuse, recruitment, rehabilitation and social work.
STEPS Employment: STEPS employment counsellors have experience in employment and preferably experience with a psychiatric population.
Psychological Assessment and Diagnosis: Staff members tend to be clinical psychologists with experience in working with neuropsychological assessment of brain-injured clients; clinical and/or educational assessments of children and adolescents and their families.
Students: Sydney Counselling Centre is able to provide placements for post graduate Clinical, Forensic, Neuropsychology and Educational/Developmental Masters students. We also occasionally have placements for 4th year graduates of psychology. Please contact us if you have an enquiry.
